Innovation, technology and team expansion have been among Casino2k’s main priorities over the past year. These were also some of the topics highlighted by Stefano Franceschetti, Co-founder and CTO of Casino2k, who attended the EGR Italy Awards 2026, held on 20 October at the Rome Cavalieri hotel, alongside fellow co-founders Matteo Giannone and Salvatore Martorana.
After winning the “Casino Affiliate” award in 2025, Casino2k returned to the event as a finalist in two categories: “Casino Affiliate” and “Affiliate of the Year”.
For the Italian affiliate brand, which has been operating in the regulated online gambling market for almost 20 years, the previous year’s victory provided further motivation to invest in the company’s development.
Over the past year, Casino2k has expanded its team, increased its focus on innovation and technology, and strengthened its presence in areas where it had previously been less active, particularly social media.
Stefano Franceschetti reflected on the company’s progress and the experience at the awards ceremony:
“The evening was phenomenal. Every year, the organisers manage to surprise us even more. Following last year’s victory, we invested further in innovation and technology. We expanded our team and focused on areas where we had previously been less active, such as social media.”
Although Casino2k did not win an award this year, Franceschetti emphasised the importance of continuing to invest in the company’s future while maintaining a consistent approach to its work.
“As for us, we will continue to focus on consistent work and market analysis, two essential elements for continued success.”
Casino2k also congratulated Hub Affiliations on winning both awards, while thanking its team and the EGR organisers for another memorable edition of the event.
